Megan Larmie-Knipple

Instructor

Megan Larmie-Knipple recently moved to lovely Colorado Springs, CO.  She graduated in 2012 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in art history.  While painting is her specialty, she also loves drawing, printmaking, sculpture and photography.

She has worked with children of all ages for over a decade as a private art instructor, a non-profit educator, a summer camp counselor, an elementary school substitute and a kindergarten paraprofessional.  To Megan, the combination of kids and art is unstoppable, magic to be around!

She loves being outdoors, especially hiking, camping, climbing, skiing or surfing.  In her words, “There’s nothing better than unzipping a tent as the sun rises or diving under a glassy, green wave.”.

Her wonderful husband is a flight paramedic in the US Army.  They are parents to a spoiled and spotted, exceptionally funny, English bulldog named Winston!

She is incredibly excited to “join the Colorado Springs art community and the amazingly creative atmosphere at Studio 101!”.
