Meet the Studio 101 Instructor Team

Owner / Instructor

Hello! My name is Marcie Anderson. I graduated from Baylor University with my degree in Education and have been teaching art for over 20 years both in Texas and Colorado.  I continue to be amazed at how art feeds our hearts and souls.  It is nothing short of spectacular to watch a person great or small find their voice through discovery, imagination, and creativity.  Art is as unique as each one of us as we express ourselves from the inside out … it is our voice spilling out through our hands.

Greetings! My name is Rhonda Conn-Parent. I founded Studio 101 and am in the process of selling it to Marcie; HOWEVER, I am still teaching at the studio! I am a certified Art Specialist, meaning I am state (both in Texas and Colorado) certified to teach Kindergarten thru 12th grade. I have been teaching for over 20 years in Texas, Colorado, and Paris, France, in public, private and charter schools.

instructor / Director

I have had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of teaching positions in the past 10 years. Supporting others in their self-exploration and development is such a rewarding and fun journey. I have a BA in Art and a second BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon. It is my pleasure and passion to provide you or your loved one with the knowledge, support, and fun environment to create.
